New Patients
Welcome to our practice! We are happy that you are joining us. We are unlike other dental offices when it comes to meeting our new patients. Here is what you can expect from our office and staff at your first appointment:
You have the opportunity to download all of the new patient forms right from the website! There will be no need to come 30 minutes early to your appointment to fill out paperwork! Please have these ready for the front desk so we can get you back as soon as possible. Once all of your information is in the system, you are ready to meet your dental coordinator.

You will be taken back to your room where your treatment coordinator will ask you some very important questions. She will talk with you regarding your health history, past dental experiences, any problems or concerns you may be having, as well as your vision for you dental care. Next, you will have some photos taken of you and your teeth. This helps Dr. Lewis, as well as yourself, to see what is going on in your mouth. You will then have a series of x-rays taken. Again, this allows Dr. Lewis to diagnosis any problems that you may be experiencing.
You will then meet with Dr. Lewis for a comprehensive oral exam. She and your dental coordinator may say numbers or letters that do not make any sense, but it will be explained to you! She will use the x-rays, photos, and educational videos to help you understand conditions and procedures.
Dr. Lewis and your dental coordinator will make a treatment plan including your hygiene plan. You will have the opportunity to ask questions. You will talk to the financial coordinator regarding insurance and financial responsibility.
Once your questions have been answered and you are ready to go forward, we will schedule you for your hygiene appointment. We do require that all of our patients stay current in hygiene.
